CALGARY, AB - Calgary Roughnecks' Jeff Shattler and Keith Nyberg are baring it all December 15 and shaving their heads in support of Epilepsy. Each has graciously offered to lose their locks for the Epilepsy Association of Calgary's “Bare Naked Noggins” Head Shave Fundraiser.
A number of willing individuals, along with Shattler and Nyberg, will be shaving their heads to assist the cause. Andrew McBride and Devan Wray will also be in attendance, as well as three members of the Roughnecks Drill Crew, who will be performing the task of buzzing the hair off participants.
The head shave will be emceed by Jack FM Morning Show Co-Host Matt O'Neil, with comedy being provided by Calgary's own Jebb Fink.
The intent of this event is not only to raise awareness about Epilepsy, but to “raze” funds for programs at the Epilepsy Association of Calgary.
The Roughnecks are strongly committed to giving back to the community and are asking fans to assist by providing donations to support Shattler and Nyberg as they shave their heads for this worthwhile cause.

“Bare Naked Noggins” is an entertaining and worthwhile cause inspired by Ethan Drage who raised $11,000 at his elementary school last spring. The event will be taking place from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Banker's Hall in the Main Attrium Lobby on Monday, December 15.
Epilepsy affects approximately two per cent of the population and is known as a condition of the central nervous system which causes seizures. Around 20,000 Calgarians suffer from this illness, and struggle with the trials and tribulations that it poses each and every day.
