Calgary Roughnecks' fan favourite Kaleb Toth, Josh ‘shooter' Sanderson, netminder Pat Campbell and team captain Tracey Kelusky are among the few helping host the Roughnecks 2009 Lacrosse Camp for up-and-coming lacrosse stars.
The camp also wouldn't be complete without the help and instruction from forwards Jeff Shattler, Dane Dobbie and Cayle Ratcliff, defenceman Bruce Codd, Andrew McBride, Scott Carnegie and John Lintz.
The camp, which runs the week of March 23-26, will teach lacrosse players everything from skills on and off the turf, training drills and nutrition tips. Participants will learn valuable lessons from the Riggers themselves.
Roughnecks' assistant coach Dave Pym will also be helping get participants in tip-top shape.
The weeklong camp, which runs Monday through Thursday is open to boys and girls from the tyke to junior level.
Value: 28 hours of instruction which includes:
• Four hours of ‘Lunch & Learn' sessions (stick stringing/health care/body care)
• 24 hours of actual floor time
• T-shirts
• Free tickets to a Roughnecks game
