CALGARY, AB — Thirteen Nations from around the world have journeyed to Onondaga to compete.

The 2015 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship will get started on September 18th with a blockbuster matchup between the USA and the host Iroquois National team.

In the past three championships, Team Canada has taken the gold medal with Iroquois and the USA placing second and third, respectively.

Roughnecks Curtis Dickson and Shawn Evans will play key roles for Team Canada, while Jeff Shattler will be apart of the Iroquois team.

While they remain the top three contenders to medal, however many other countries have improved and are ready to come battle for a spot on the podium.

Roughnecks top 2015 draft pick, Tyson Roe, will be looking to help Team England make their mark in the lacrosse community. Along with other NLL player Nick Rose and Rochester Nighthawks coach Mike Hasen, they will be in a good place to make a run.

For Team Ireland, Andrew McBride will be wearing the ‘C’. Along with Stephen Keogh, Team Ireland will be looking to win its second ever game at a World Championship.
