CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the 2016 National Lacrosse League regular season schedule. The Roughnecks will open their 15th anniversary season at home against the defending NLL champion Saskatchewan Rush (formerly Edmonton) on Saturday, Jan. 2, with a 7 p.m. faceoff at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

The 18-game schedule will see Calgary play West Division opponents Saskatchewan and Vancouver each four times while facing Colorado in three games.

Of the nine Roughnecks home games, eight will be played on Saturday with one Sunday afternoon contest in February. All Calgary home games, with the exception of Sunday, Feb. 28 (2 p.m.), will start at 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
