SETTIN’ IT UP
A battle with the Warriors.
The Riggers are back on the road in Vancouver for an 8 p.m. MT tilt on Saturday (TSN+).
Calgary (1-2) looks to get back to .500 this weekend with a win following a 17-11 victory over Las Vegas on Dec. 30 in their home-opener.
For the Warriors, they sit 1-3 on the season and have lost two straight to Rochester and Colorado by a total of three goals.
The Riggers have a couple of big milestones that should be in reach this weekend. Zach Currier needs three loose balls to hit 1,000 in his career, while Christian Del Bianco needs five-minutes played to be the 20th goalie in NLL history to play 5,000 minutes.
This is the only regular-season matchup between these two teams with the new schedule format. The Roughnecks won all three meetings last year with a total score of 39-23.
Players To Watch
Roughnecks: F Haiden Dickson: Dickson had nine of his 22 goals last year against the Warriors and is off to a hot start this season with nine goals in three games. He has also scored the Roughnecks opening goal in all three tilts this season.
Warriors: F Adam Charalambides: Charalambides is flying to start the season with 21 points in his first four games. His career high was 59 last year and he is well on pace to crush those numbers.
