The Roughnecks and Mammoth went back and forth but a strong start to the fourth-quarter guided Colorado to a 13-10 win at home.

The Riggers fall to 2-3 while the Mammoth move to 2-4.

The Riggers opened the scoring on Saturday night as Tanner Cook stayed hot following his five-goal performance last week making the score 1-0.

The Mammoth took the lead shortly after with two quick goals to make the score 2-1.

The Riggers went to the powerplay early in the third-quarter but it was the Mammoth opening the second-half scoring short-handed. The score was 6-5.

The Mammoth got a transition goal of their own to retake the lead 7-6.

The Riggers found the net on another powerplay as Simpson scored his second of the night on a breakaway to make the score 11-9 Mammoth.
