Summer lacrosse continues for many Roughnecks all across Canada and the United States.
This summer we have players in the WLA, MSL, RMLL, PLL and WCSLA.
The WLA regular season wrapped up with Jesse King, Bennett Smith, Derek Lloyd and the Victoria Shamrocks finishing the regular season with a perfect 18-0 record. They kick off the playoffs Wednesday, Aug. 7 against Logan Schuss, Jeff Cornwall and the New Westminster Salmonbellies.
In the MSL Thomas Hoggarth helped his Peterborough Lakers advance past Tanner Cook’s Brooklyn LC in three straight games. The Lakers now advance to the MSL final to take on the powerhouse, Six Nations Chiefs.
Tyler Pace, Haiden Dickson and Christian Del Bianco are off to the WCSLA final against Victoria after sweeping North Shore.
Finally, Brett McIntyre, Steve Fryer and the Calgary Mounties are tied 1-1 in their RMLL Sr. B best-of-five final with Edmonton.
