The Roughnecks closed out their road trip in a thrilling battle with the Desert Dogs, but fell 10-9 in overtime in Las Vegas. Calgary scored six goals in the fourth quarter to mount a comeback and send it to extra time.
Haiden Dickson reached 100 career NLL assists, and Tyler Pace led the way offensively with seven points. Tanner Cook continued his goal scoring ways potting three on the night.

The Desert Dogs opened up the scoring with a couple of goals from Chris Cloutier and Jonathan Donville to take a 2-0 lead at 8:31 of the first quarter.
Vegas outscored the Riggers 3-0 in the first frame.
The Riggers came out firing in the second quarter with a pair of behind-the-net dunk goals from Tanner Cook and Jacob Dunbar to snip the lead to 3-2 for Vegas.

Vegas came back swinging six minutes later with two goals in 47 seconds to give them a 5-2 lead going into halftime.
The Desert Dogs continued their momentum into the third with an Adam Poitras goal at 13:56 to stretch the lead to four.
Kevin Crowley added to the total for Vegas to make it 7-2.
The Roughnecks snapped a 24–minute scoring drought with a powerplay goal from Mayea to cut the lead down to four heading into the final frame.

The Riggers offence came to life in the fourth when Mayea tacked on another goal followed up by Cook to bring the Riggers within two at 12:18 of the fourth quarter.
Vegas responded with a pair of goals to regain their four-goal lead with less than 10 minutes remaining in the game.
The Riggers made a late game surge with three goals in 35 seconds to cut the Vegas lead to 9-8 with 1:49 left to play.
Cook came up clutch, sniping home his third goal of the night and 40th of the season to tie up the game with 59 seconds left on the clock and send the game to overtime.

A back–and–forth overtime battle ended with Donville scoring his second of the night to close it out for Vegas.
