Christian Del Bianco is once again having an elite season in net for the Riggers.

The play of the reigning MVP and Goaltender of the Year has him in the conversation for both awards again.

Let’s take a closer look at just how good CDB has been this season.

16

The Riggers netminder has 16 assists. He’s four away from setting a single-season high of 20. His record of 19 was set last season. The next closest goaltender has seven helpers.

584

CDB has 584 saves this season which is second most in the NLL. Zach Higgins of Philadelphia has 31 more, but has played an extra game to this point. Del Bianco is on pace for 751 saves which would be a career high and one short of Anthony Cosmo’s all-time record of 752.

10.41

Del Bianco has a 10.41 goals-against average this season. That’s the second-best mark for CDB only behind his 9.28 from his MVP season last year and fifth best in the NLL.

.798

CDB has a .798 save percentage this year. So far it would be the third best percentage of his career. Del Bianco currently sits fourth in the NLL and seems to be climbing every week.

847

The Coquitlam, B.C., native has played 847 minutes. He is on pace for a new season high of 1,089 minutes.
