SETTIN’ IT UP

The Roughnecks begin a stretch of 12 games in 11 weekends starting Saturday in Philadelphia.

The team will hope to get back in the win column following their first loss of the season last time out against Vancouver in their home-opener.

They face off with the Wings in Philly at 11 a.m. MT on Saturday. You can catch the game on TSN+ or NLL+.

The Riggers (2-1) won back-to-back games against Halifax and Albany to start the year before their 14-10 loss to the Warriors. Curtis Dickson led the way in that tilt with four goals and two assists.

Philadelphia (3-1) is on a three-game winning streak with the most recent a 12-11 overtime win over Saskatchewan on Dec. 28. Joe Resetarits is tied for the league lead in points with 34 entering Saturday’s game.

Jesse King is seven points shy of 500 in his NLL career and will play in his 99th career game on Saturday. He currently sits in a tie for sixth in the NLL with 20 assists this season.

This is the only matchup of the season between the two clubs. They met twice last season with the Roughnecks winning at home 14-11 and the Wings returning the favour the weekend after with an 11-9 victory.
