It’s all about 44.
The Roughnecks (1-3) are hosting the Vancouver Warriors (2-1) at the Scotiabank Saddledome with face-off set for 7:40 p.m. on TSN and ESPN+. Prior to the game, the Roughnecks will honour Riggers legend Dane Dobbie with a pre-game ceremony that kicks off at 7:15 p.m. and a ‘Forever A Roughneck’ banner raising where No. 44 will go to the rafters.
Calgary picked up their first win of the season in Week 6 with a 15-12 victory in San Diego. Forward’s Tanner Cook and Brayden Mayea had monstrous nine-point nights to lead the way, and goaltender Aden Walsh was solid with 50-saves, marking a new career-high.
