Setting The Scene:

The  Roughnecks (1–6) are heading to the nations capital for the first time this season to take on the Ottawa Black Bears (4-5) at the Canadian Tire Centre at 5 p.m. on NLL+, TSN+ and ESPN+.

Calgary is coming off a 14-8 loss at the hands of the Saskatchewan Rush in Week 10. Aden Walsh posted 49 saves and Tanner Cook and Tyler Pace each had four-point night’s.

Ottawa (4-5) is coming into Week 11 after dropping a 17-10 loss in Toronto the week before. The high octane duo of Jeff Teat and Rob Hellyer combined for 13 points in the outing.

Heading into Week 11 of the regular season, Roughnecks forward Haiden Dickson is just three goals away from reaching 100 in his career, while Tyler Pace will suit up for his 100th NLL game.

Head-To-Head:

This is the first of two meetings between these teams this season. Ottawa will head down to a rocking Rough House to take on the Roughnecks on March 14th for the St. Patricks Day Party.

The last time these teams matched up was last season in Ottawa where the Riggers took an 11-8 victory backed by a four-goal night from Pace.

Players To Watch:

Roughnecks: F Tyler Pace: The veteran forward is suiting up for his 100th NLL game and will surely have some extra jump coming out the gates. Pace has 40 points through seven games played and has put up multi-goal nights in five of those seven appearances.

Black Bears: F Jeff Teat: The Ontario product has been scoring at a high clip this season and leads the NLL in scoring with 64 points. Teat has posted 34 points in his last five games played
