Setting The Scene:

The Calgary Roughnecks (4–12) are looking for some redemption when they hit the road to take on the Oshawa Firewolves (5-11) Saturday with face-off set for 5 p.m. on TSN+, ESPN+ and NLL+.

Oshawa has wins in three of their last four games, most recently a 10-9 overtime win over the Roughnecks in Week 19. Tye Kurtz scored the game-winning goal and Alex Simmons led the way offensively with seven points.

The Riggers are looking to turn the tables in Oshawa and snap a three-game skid in Week 20. The ‘Necks were trailing 7-4 midway through the third quarter against the Firewolves in Week 19 before battling back to tie the game at 9-9 in the fourth to send it to overtime. Tyler Pace posted eight points (2G, 6A) on the evening which was a game-high in the contest.

Heading into Week 20 of the NLL Regular Season, Pace is sitting ninth in NLL scoring with 90 points. Tanner Cook has also moved into second in the NLL in goals with 43, just two behind the league lead.

Head-To-Head:

Saturday marks the final meeting between Calgary and Oshawa this season.

Players To Watch:
Roughnecks: F Tanner Cook: Cook has been red-hot potting goals in each of his last six games played. The Ontario native posted a hat-trick in the first meeting between the clubs and will look to continue his torrid scoring pace.

Firewolves: F Tye Kurtz: The 2022 first rounder has scored 15 points in his last three games and is fresh off a hattrick performance in Week 19.
