CALGARY, AB – The National Lacrosse League today announced Calgary Roughnecks forward Shawn Evans is one of three finalists for the 2015 Pinty’s Wingman of the Year award, joining Toronto Rock forward Josh Sanderson and Buffalo Bandits forward Dhane Smith.

Evans, recently named a 2015 NLL MVP award finalist, set a new NLL single-season points record with a career-high 130 points, tied the league record with 83 assists and scored the sixth-most goals among all players at 47. The 10-year NLL veteran from Peterborough, Ontario, also led the league with career highs in power play assists (31) and shorthanded goals (5) on the NLL’s top power play and penalty kill units.
