CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the National Lacrosse League club has acquired 26-year-old forward Riley Loewen from the Saskatchewan Rush in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2017 NLL Draft.

Loewen, a two-time NLL champion (2014 & 2015), recently completed his third NLL season where he recorded three goals and 24 points along with 35 loose balls over 12 games played. Originally selected by the Edmonton Rush in the second round, 11th overall in 2013, Loewen has compiled 84 career points (27 goals, 57 assists) while collecting 93 loose balls in 41 games.
