The Riggers enter another bye coming off a huge 17-11 Home-Opener win against the Desert Dogs.

Ten different Roughnecks scored in the victory in an offensive explosion that the team was happy to see.

The Riggers will have to watch Week 6 again as they head to their third bye-week of the season before departing for a two game road-trip to Vancouver and then Colorado. There were some eye-popping numbers this past weekend, let’s take a look at them.

Thomas Hoggarth picked up two goals on Saturday night putting him just two away from 100 in his NLL career. Hoggarth has three goals in three games this season, all from his patented spot at the top of the crease.

With his eight loose-balls in Saturday’s game, Zach Currier sits just three away from 1,000 in his career. We could see that mark hit in the first quarter of the ‘Necks Jan. 13 battle in Vancouver.

5

Christian Del Bianco needs just five-minutes played on Jan. 13 to become the 20th goalie in league history to get to 5,000-minutes played.

7

Tyler Pace needs seven points to hit 250 in his NLL career. He also needs five goals for 100 and two assists for 150. Pace has been off to a hot start this season with 17 points in three games.

Jesse King is on fire to start the season with 23 points in the team’s first three games. King is first in the league in points among players who have played three games, and sixth overall. He sits second in the NLL in assists with 18.
