The Roughnecks controlled the game from start to finish picking up an 11-8 victory in Ottawa against the Black Bears on Friday night.
Tyler Pace opened the scoring for the Roughnecks on Friday night cutting to the goal-mouth and firing one over the goaltenders shoulder to make it 1-0.
Curtis Dickson picked up his 500th career assist on the opening goal.
The Riggers extended the early lead and Tanner Cook drove the net and put it home to make it 2-0.
Pace dunked home his second of the night to make it 3-0.

Ottawa ended the Riggers early run to make it 3-1 after one quarter of play.
The Black Bears scored short-handed early in the second to make it 3-2.
Pace picked up the first half hat-trick just as a powerplay had expired to make the score 4-2 Roughnecks.
Ottawa would answer again with a dunk of their own to make the score 4-3.
Cook fed Jesse King behind the back and the Riggers captain did the rest to get the scoring started in the third-quarter and making it 5-3.

The Black Bears answered with a goal of their own, late in the shot clock, to make it 5-4.
The Riggers extended their lead once again as King bounced home his second of the night, the score was 6-4 with 6:50 to go in the third-quarter.
King finished off the hat-trick for a second straight game, on the powerplay, to put the Riggers up 7-4 heading into the final frame.
Curtis Dickson found the back of the net early in the fourth to extend the ‘necks lead to 8-4.
The Black Bears put a halt to the Riggers three-goal run making it 8-5 with 10:48 remaining.
They would strike again to get within three making it 9-6 with 6:15 to go.
Ottawa got within two with 1:19 remaining making it 9-7.
Curtis Dickson got the Riggers to double-digits with under a minute to go making the score 10-7.
Ottawa would answer with one more but Robert Hudson scored his first of the season into an empty-net to make the final 11-8.
