SETTIN’ IT UP

The Riggers are back home looking to keep the season alive.

The Roughnecks take on the Colorado Mammoth in Game 2 of the best-of-three Western Conference Final Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome. TICKETS

The Mammoth took Game 1 by an 8-7 final Thursday night in a tightly contested game. Colorado tallied four powerplay goals in the second half to edge the Riggers.

Roughnecks rookie defender Seth Van Schepen got his first career playoff goal in the loss that also saw Jeff Cornwall and Zach Currier score from the back end.

Christian Del Bianco made 42 saves on 50 shots.

The Riggers will look to force Game 3, which would take place next Saturday, May 20 at the Rough House.

Worth noting that Riggers Head Coach Curt Malawsky needs one win to move into a tie for third all-time in playoff coaching wins.
