SETTIN’ IT UP
The Riggers are one win away from another trip to the NLL Finals.
The Roughnecks take on the Colorado Mammoth in the third and deciding game of the Western Conference Final Saturday night at 7:30 from the Scotiabank Saddledome. TICKETS
The Mammoth took Game 1 by an 8-7 final before the Riggers bounced back last Saturday with a 13-12 win.
Roughnecks forward Jesse King had eight points to help guide the Riggers to victory.
Worth noting that Riggers goaltender Christian Del Bianco needs 21 minutes played to move into eleventh all-time in playoff minutes played by a goaltender and 28 saves to move into 10th all-time in playoff saves.
Jesse King spoke about what his team needs to do to make sure they are the ones advancing to the championship.
“I think the key is to just limit their runs,” he said. “They score a lot of goals in groups. When this happens, we just need to remain positive and composed on the bench and win the next five-minutes of the game. If we do this I believe we will be successful come Saturday night.”
