The Calgary Roughnecks are excited to launch the brand-new Roughnecks Academy, a series of camps for experienced lacrosse athletes aged 10-16 years who wish to improve their game under the instruction of current and former Calgary Roughnecks players.
The first series of camps under the Roughnecks Academy are now open for registration. Taking place December 28th & 29th at the Genesis Centre in NE Calgary, attendees will spend half the session learning new drills and skills from our pro Roughnecks, before applying them in a filmed, NLL-formatted scrimmage designed to provide a competitive and exciting atmosphere for the province’s best.
Learn from Roughnecks Tyler Pace, Jesse King, Christian Del Bianco, Zach Currier, Eli Salama & more in a fun, competitive environment.
Included in the $159.99 registration fee:
- 5 hours of practice
- Two filmed scrimmages which will be available for players to download post-camp
- 2 tickets to the Calgary Roughnecks Home Opener, December 30th at the Scotiabank Saddledome
- Snacks and drinks

2011-2013 Schedule:
December 28th & 29th
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM –> Train with the Pros
10:30 AM – 10:45 AM –> Team Draft & Final Prep
10:45 AM – 12:00 PM –> Filmed Scrimmage
2008-2010 Schedule:
December 28th & 29th
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM –> Train with the Pros
1:30 PM – 1:45 PM –> Team Draft & Final Prep
1:45 PM – 3:00 PM –> Filmed Scrimmage
