A St. Patrick’s Day Party showdown.
The Roughnecks will look to end a two-game slide on Friday night against the rival San Diego Seals at the Rough House at 7 p.m., in the annual St. Patrick’s Day Party game which always brings a large and rowdy crowd to the Scotiabank Saddledome TICKETS.
The Riggers (5-7) sit a couple spots out in a tight playoff race and need to start stringing some wins together over the final six games of the season. They dropped a heartbreaking 13-12 overtime decision in Georgia last weekend.
The Seals (9-4) are third in the NLL this season and are looking for their second-straight win after a 12-8 victory over Halifax last weekend.
Zach Currier is three loose balls away from 1,100 in his career, while Christian Del Bianco needs four assists to match his career high 19 from last season.
This is the second and final regular-season matchup between the ’Necks and Seals. San Diego took a 12-9 victory at home in week two of the season.

Roughnecks: Shane Simpson D/T – Simpson leads the NLL in goals from a defenceman with 13 this season and had two in transition the last time these two teams met.
Swarm: Austin Staats F – Staats has been on a tear offensively this season with 40 goals which leads the league.
