The Riggers are set for their second home tilt of the weekend.
And the Roughnecks will look to get back in the win column on Sunday when they host the Las Vegas Desert Dogs at the Rough House (5 p.m. MST TSN+, ESPN+, NLL+). TICKETS
The Riggers (5-4) fell 16-13 on Friday against the Saskatchewan Rush and will look to bounce back against a Las Vegas team that has lost three of their last four.
Las Vegas (2-7) find themselves in a tie for last in the NLL with Albany following a 12-8 loss to Vancouver on Friday night.
Curtis Dickson sits seventh in the NLL with his 57 points (26g, 31a) heading into the battle with the Desert Dogs after another seven-point performance on Friday.
Bennett Smith grabbed two more goals on Friday and is now up to six on the season. That is third-most among players who have only played defence this year.
This is the first of two meetings between these two teams. The Riggers will head out to Las Vegas April 18 for the second-last game of the regular season. The Roughnecks grabbed a 17-11 victory over the Dogs in their only meeting last season.
Players To Watch
Roughnecks: F Jesse King: The Riggers captain had nine points (3g, 6a) last season against Las Vegas tying a career high. He had five points on Friday to get him to 53 on the season.
Desert Dogs: F Jack Hannah: Hannah is pacing Vegas this season. He had one goal and five assists on Friday against Vancouver and was the only Dogs player over three points.
