Halifax (3-7) is looking to snap a five-game-skid with their most recent loss coming in Week 13 to the San Diego Seals 9-8. Randy Staats led the offence with a five-point-night (2G, 3A).

The Riggers split a back-to-back in Week 12 beating Philadelphia 10-9 and then dropping the following game 11-6 against Georgia before their bye. Following Saturday’s tilt against Halifax, the Riggers will hit the road to take on the Rochester Knighthawks on March 8.

Head-To-Head:

This is the only meeting between these two teams this season. Last season when the teams clashed, the Roughnecks took an 18-17 win in Halifax. Tanner Cook had three-goals and five points on the night. The Thunderbirds got one back in the 2024-25 NLL Playoffs when they took the Riggers down 16-12 in the quarterfinals at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax.

Calgary has won four of six matchups against the Thunderbirds all-time.
