The Roughnecks battled hard in a back–and–forth affair on the road in Colorado, but fell 14-12 to the Mammoth at Ball Arena.
Carter Cook scored his first-career NLL goal with his parents in attendance, and Tyler Pace led the way offensively with a nine-point-night.

The Mammoth responded with a three-goal run.
Pace scored his second of the game to start a three-goal run for the Riggers with 2.2 seconds remaining on the clock to bring Calgary within one at the end of the first.
Carter Cook started up the second quarter scoring his first career NLL goal. The rookie made a leaping attempt before tucking it past Ward. Tanner Cook continued his scoring ways, potting his first of the night to give the Riggers a 4-3 lead.

Colorado’s Andrew Kew followed that up scoring three-straight goals to give himself a second quarter hat-trick to get the Mammoth up a pair at 6-4.
Kyle Pepper stopped the bleeding scoring a beauty in transition to bring the Riggers within one.
Colorado went on to outscore the Riggers 5-3 in the second quarter to go to half with an 8-5 lead.
The Roughnecks offence was alive to start the third with Tanner Cook scoring his second of the night. Pace followed that up with his third and fourth of the game to tie it up at eight.

The Mammoth fired back with another three-goal run to extend the lead to 11-8.
Another week, another Brayden Mayea highlight reel goal. The sophomore forward scored his first of the night in spectacular fashion to cut the lead to two at 2:45 of the third quarter.

Colorado would get one back off of Will Malcom in the fourth, but the Riggers got a pair of goals from Pace (fifth of the game) and Noah Manning to narrow the lead to 12-11 Mammoth with 11 minutes left in the fourth.
The teams continued to trade goals with Colorado ultimately hanging onto a two-goal lead to close it out.
