SETTIN’ IT UP
Welcome back to the Rough House.
The Riggers, after starting the season with two road games, are finally home.
They host Las Vegas Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome (TSN+) (TICKETS).
Calgary looks to avoid going 0-3 for just the second time in franchise history when they welcome the Desert Dogs. It will be 21 days since the Riggers last took the floor, when they fell 12-9 in San Diego on Dec. 9.
Las Vegas comes into this game 1-2 after losing a one-sided, 17-5 decision to Saskatchewan on Dec. 15.
Riggers captain Jesse King enters the tilt second in the league in scoring (14 points) among players with just two games played.
This is the only regular-season matchup between the two squads. The last time they faced off was April 14 of last season when Calgary won 12-7 at home. King led the way with two goals and five assists.
