ILIndoor’s sixth edition of the Top 50 players in lacrosse is based on voting from Stephen Stamp, Bob Chavez, Marty O’Neill and Teddy Jenner.

Each voter submitted a Top 50 list, and names on the list were awarded points based on the vote. A No. 1 vote was awarded 50 points, No. 2 got 49 points, etc. ILIndoor is publishing 1 profile per day through December up to the National Lacrosse League season opener.

Included in each profile is statistics for the most recent season(s) and comments from each voter on the profiled player. Stephen Stamp

A human highlight reel, Dickson will scores goals that defy belief and description. He is deadly with the step-back sidearm rip but is just as likely to cut to the net, where he is virtually unstoppable once he gets a step on a defender. Even if a defender — or often two or three, sometimes even four — maintains position, Dickson can score through sheer strength, skill and force of will.
Bob Chavez

A goal is a goal is a goal, but Dickson’s never been shy about going for style points, even if they don’t count. Dickson’s lightning first step is a nightmare for defenders because it sets up the dream goals he scores as he dives across the crease. He cashed in for 61 goals last winter and is averaging 3 goals a game over the last 2 seasons, a clear indication he’s embraced the No. 1 role in the Calgary offense since the departure of Shawn Evans for New England. Not that there was any doubts he could handle that role, but some guys are just born to be an offensive leader with flair and Dickson is one of those guys.
Teddy Jenner

Nobody takes to the air more than Superman but he’s more than just an aerial attack. His one on one game is right on par with Smith and his ability to score from ridiculous angles continues to defy logic With a little more ball movement he would be a points leader contender every year
