The Roughnecks had a strong start but the Wings battled back in the fourth to defeat Calgary 13-11.

It was the Wings who struck first on Saturday afternoon 52-seconds into the game making it 1-0.

Brayden Mayea drew into the lineup for the injured Dane Dobbie and made an immediate impact in his NLL debut, ripping one from the outside to tie the game 1-1.

Philadelphia struck on their first powerplay of the night to make the score 2-1.

Tanner Cook bounced his sixth of the season five-hole to tie it up 2-2 shortly after.

Haiden Dickson scored in his first game of the season to give the Roughnecks the 3-2 lead heading into the second-quarter.

Cook added to the lead with a behind-the-back shot for his second of the night to make it 4-2.

The Wings got one back with their second powerplay marker of the afternoon to make the score 4-3.

They would add another from the outside to even the score, 4-4.

Philadelphia re-took the lead shorthanded making it 5-4.

The Wings grabbed another with the man advantage to make the score 6-4 with 6:05 remaining until halftime.

The Roughnecks ended the mini run with a powerplay goal of their own from Tyler Pace to make the score 6-5.

Jesse King struck on another powerplay to even up the score 6-6 with 4:50 to go in the second-quarter.

The ‘Necks scored their third powerplay goal in a row, this time a floater far side from Curtis Dickson, to make the score 7-6 Roughnecks heading into the half.

The Roughnecks were the first to find the back of the net in the third quarter. Curtis Dickson fired one home in transition, short-handed, to make the score 8-6.

The Wings would answer with their fourth powerplay goal of the game, the score was 8-7 Roughnecks.

Curtis Dickson finished off his hat-trick on the powerplay but the Wings quickly responded to make the score 9-8 heading into the fourth-quarter.

Philadelphia struck first in the fourth to tie the game 9-9.

Mayea fired his second of the night from far out to give the Roughnecks the 10-9 lead.

The Wings tied the game with 3:11 to go, it was 10-10.

They would then take the lead on a bouncer to make it 11-10 Wings.

Philly went up by two, 12-10 with 1:14 remaining.

They would add an empty netter to make it 13-11.

Curtis Dickson scored his fourth of the game late, but the Wings would walk away with a 13-11 victory.
