SETTIN’ IT UP
Time to rebound.
The Riggers are in San Diego to battle the Seals Saturday at 8 p.m. MT on TSN+.
The ‘Necks are on the road for the second straight week after falling to the Rochester Knighthawks 14-13 last weekend. The Riggers will have 21 days off following the game tomorrow night with their next game being the home-opener on Dec. 30 (TICKETS).
It was a strong start for the Roughnecks last week. They took a 10-5 lead into halftime before the ‘Hawks put together an eight-goal run en route to the win.
Jesse King led the way with seven points (1g, 6a) while Tyler Pace had six points (3g, 3a).
Saturday is the first game of the season for the Seals as they had a Week 1 bye. This the first of two matchups between these two. San Diego will be in Calgary March 15.
Players To Watch
Roughnecks: Zach Currier D/T: Currier had what he would consider a slow night in Week 1. The back-to-back Transition Player of the Year had six loose balls and one assist in the loss and will be looking to have a big game against the Seals.
Seals: Dane Dobbie F: The former Roughneck enters his sixteenth NLL season after leading the Seals in goals with 45 last season and cleared 100 points for the second time in his career.
