SETTIN’ IT UP
The Riggers will look to move three games above .500 for the first time this year, when they hit the turf Saturday night and welcome the Rochester Knighthawks at 7 p.m. MST. TICKETS.
They’ll also be looking for their second straight win at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The Riggers (6-4) put up their biggest win of the season last Sunday, defeating the Las Vegas Desert Dogs 21-8. Tyler Pace (2g, 9a), Dane Dobbie (6g, 4a) and Jesse King (3g, 7a) all cleared 10 points in the win.
Rochester (4-7) find themselves on the outside looking in on a playoff spot right now. Six teams with five wins sit just ahead of them so this will be an important game for the Knighthawks.
Dobbie leads the league in goals entering Week 13 with 29, while Curtis Dickson sits second with 27.
King is just five assists away from his fourth-straight 50-assist season. It would be his fifth overall in the NLL.
This is the only meeting between the Riggers and Knighthawks this season. Rochester took the season-opener at home last year, beating Cagary 14-13. Pace and Haiden Dickson both had hat-tricks in that one, with King tops in points with seven.
