Summer lacrosse is winding down for many Roughnecks all across Canada and the United States.

This summer we have players in the WLA, MSL, RMLL, PLL and WCSLA.

Jesse King and his Victoria Shamrocks swept the WLA final over Langley and will battle Six Nations in the Mann Cup starting Sept. 6 at Six Nations. King took home the WLA Playoff MVP honours finishing with 44 postseason points in nine games.

In the MSL, Thomas Hoggarth’s Peterborough Lakers fell in six games to Six Nations in the final.

The Ladner Pioneers are well into their round robin in the Senior B Presidents Cup.

Finally, Brett McIntyre, who played the season with the Calgary Mountaineers, was picked up by the Edmonton Miners for their Presidents Cup run and has been doing some damage early.
