Calgary, AB – The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the National Lacrosse League club has re-signed defenceman Tyson Bell to a two-year contract and signed free-agent forward Tyler Ferreira (pronounced fur-rare-ah) to a one-year agreement.

Bell, 23, recently completed a career-best sophomore season with the Roughnecks, improving in goals (8), points (14), loose balls (108) and caused turnovers (16). Calgary selected the St. Catharines, Ontario, product in the third round (24th overall) of the 2015 NLL Draft.

Ferreira, a native of Brampton, Ontario, was originally a second-round pick (18th overall) of the Buffalo Bandits in 2014. The 24-year-old left-handed player has split a career eight games with the Bandits and Rochester Knighthawks, recording seven points (2g, 5a) and 31 loose balls over that span.
