Calgary, AB – Calgary Roughnecks are excited to announce “Roughnecks Got Talent”, an opportunity for local entertainers to take part in a talent competition. The winner will perform live during halftime at a Roughnecks 2019-20 home game at the Scotiabank Saddledome. We are looking for acts and performers who are entertaining, creative and have a strong stage presence such as musicians, dancers, comics, ventriloquists and more.
In addition to a live halftime performance, the winning act will also receive:
- $1,000 cash prize
- Roughnecks Got Talent “Champions” swag
- Professional footage of audition and halftime performance
- Promotion on Calgary Roughnecks’ social media channels
Online video submissions are now open at CalgaryRoughnecks.com/GotTalent and will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on September 27. Submissions will be limited to five minutes in length and any act that is deemed dangerous or inappropriate will not be accepted. All participants must be 15 years of age or older. Any finalists under the age of 18 will require written consent from their parent or guardian.
Acts and performers who are selected to advance to the preliminary auditions will be contacted after September 27 with details for the next phase of the competition.
