Calgary, AB – The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the National Lacrosse League club has re-signed Curtis Dickson to a one-year contract.
The star forward, who is entering his 11th NLL season, has spent his entire playing career in Calgary, and sits second all-time in franchise scoring with 763 points (416 goals, 347 assists) in 162 career games.
“We are very excited to have Curtis, one of the elite players in the NLL, back for another season” said Calgary Roughnecks General Manager, Mike Board. “He is a player with a lot of compete, a leader who hates to lose. He has a lot of tools in his game, and is a scoring threat whenever he is on the floor; he will continue to be a big part of our offence this season.”
“I’m excited to be back with Calgary for my 11th year. You can’t beat the fan base, you can’t beat the city – they treat us so well” said Dickson. “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be, Calgary has been my home since I stepped foot in this league and I’m excited to be back for another season.”
Calgary drafted the 33 year old in the first round, third overall, in 2010. Dickson was a key player in the 2019 NLL Championships where he scored 9 goals with 8 assists to help the Roughnecks take the title.

Dickson will join the Roughnecks for their 2021-22 season opener in Buffalo on Saturday, December 4th at 5:30pm MT against the Bandits at KeyBank Centre.
