Calgary, AB – The Calgary Roughnecks today announced a new partnership with Numi Health Inc., which will see Numi provide COVID-19 testing to Roughnecks players and staff for the 2021-22 Season.
Roughneck’s players and staff will have access to antigen and molecular testing options throughout the season, conducted via telehealth as well as in person in Calgary. Numi will provide the appropriate certification to those who have a negative result, allowing them to travel to the United States as well as across Canada for games, with confidence and peace of mind.
“We are extremely excited and fortunate to have entered into this partnership with Numi” said VP and Governor of the Roughnecks Mike Moore. “Maintaining the health and safety of our players, staff, and their families is a top priority for the Roughnecks especially with continuing impact of COVID-19. “Numi provides expert testing options for our players who live across Canada, thus allowing us to have the flexibility and confidence to travel to games in Canada and the United States while meeting all Government and League travel requirements.”
“Numi is thrilled to help facilitate the safe return of professional sporting events in Canada, which has been highly-anticipated across the country,” said Peter Verburg, founder and CEO of Numi. “Operating in a fast-paced environment, our friendly and experienced medical team is here to make the testing process as stress-free and efficient as possible. We look forward to working with the Roughnecks players and staff during this exciting season.”
