FLASHBACK FRIDAY: Game 12 of the 2016 regular season saw Calgary earn a 13-9 victory over the Colorado Mammoth. The two clubs entered the second half knotted at five apiece before the Roughnecks replied with a five-goal run, spanning the third and fourth quarters, en route to their fifth win of 2016. Curtis Dickson led the Roughnecks with eight points (3g, 5a) in the home contest.

CAREER YEARS: Two Calgary defencemen have already set career-highs this season. Tyson Bell has five goals and six assists for 11 points. Last year, he finished his rookie campaign with three goals and nine points. Tyler Burton has 14 caused turnovers, one more than his previous single-season best set in 2015.

RED LIGHT RALLY: On Mar. 4 against Georgia, the Roughnecks racked up 13 goals in the first 30 minutes of play, one marker shy of tying the franchise record for most first-half goals. Calgary has twice scored 14 goals in an opening half, most recently on Mar. 1, 2014, against Toronto. That game saw the Roughnecks defeat the visiting Rock, 19-13.

SECOND HALF SPOTLIGHT: Calgary is looking to record their second win in the back half of the 2017 regular season. During the 2016 campaign, the Roughnecks went 5-4 over Games 10-18 to finish the season with an 8-10 record.

LEADER OF THE PACK: Roughnecks forward Curtis Dickson leads the league in goals at 33. Dickson has recorded 292 goals in 113 games over seven seasons with Calgary. Only six of the 113 contests have seen Dickson held goalless, most recently on Feb. 25 against Saskatchewan when he finished the game with three assists.

SPECIAL TEAMS WATCH: The Roughnecks’ power play ranks fourth in the league at 53.57%. Calgary’s penalty kill is third-best at 52.73%.

WEST VS. EAST: This season, Calgary is 3-5 against teams from the West Division and has a 1-2 mark when playing rivals from the East. The Roughnecks finished the 2016 NLL campaign 3-8 against the West and 5-2 versus the East.

POINT PARADE: Curtis Dickson with 505 career points is closing in on Tracey Kelusky’s mark of 539. The former Roughnecks captain sits fourth all-time in points in franchise history. Alternate captain Dane Dobbie eclipsed 600 career NLL points on Feb. 4 against the Saskatchewan Rush. Dobbie, who has spent his entire 10-year career with the Roughnecks, has 632 points (322g, 310a) in 136 games. He now sits second in the club’s all-time scoring books, four points ahead of former Roughnecks star Kaleb Toth. Teammate Jeff Shattler moved to the top of the all-time list with a first-quarter assist in the Jan. 28 contest against the Colorado Mammoth. Shattler, who reached 400 career assists last Saturday in Toronto, now has 661 points in 176 games with Calgary.
